10:00am – 11:30am – First Series of 6 concurrent workshops in the areas of Urban Agriculture, Arts and Cultural Production and Family Literacy
11:30am 12:30pm- Lunch

12:30pm – 2:00pm – Second Series of 6 concurrent workshops in the areas of Urban Agriculture, Arts and Cultural Production and Family Literacy
2:00-3:00pm – Closing Session

There is less than a month left of school so this will be the last update of the school year.  First of all, Tuesday May 19th all students will be participating in the YCCS Olympics.  It is a day of exercise and healthy competition.  We will have the opportunity to compete in softball, volleyball, double dutch, relay races and tug of war.  The event will go all day and students will continue classes on May 20th.

In two weeks, May 25th, there will be no school.  However, Tuesday and Wednesday, will be our school retreat.  It will be a field trip.  For more infromation please contact Judy Diaz (judyd@pedroalbizucamposhs.org)

June 10th is the last day of classes.  Graduation will be at the boat house, in Humboldt Park, on June 23.

The last two weeks of school are extremely important to finishing the classes.  Students will be responsible for finishing projects and taking final exams.
