First Module at PACHS
Nov 10th, 2008 | By Raymond | Category: Students ShareHere is what some students from PACHS have to say about their first module…
Now I am a junior at PACHS, and I like it a lot. The teachers are considerate, and I like my learning environment. I can expect not to expect routines, and I really do learn a lot. My teachers grab my attention, and I get my work done. I feel motivated and positive about my surroundings. I’m confident about graduating because I know I’m in an environment and I’m around people who are determined to help me do it. Now I love learning– I know it gives me knowledge, and knowledge is greatness.

My most important learning experiences have taken place here at Campos High School. Before I came here, my mind wasn’t set on doing work. I attended VonSteuben High School and I didn’t like the school for the simple reason that it had too many kids. When I would ask for help, I would either be ignored, or helped but not the way I needed it. Here at Campos HIgh School, for the time I’ve been here, I have had a wonderful experience. I now want to learn and do my homework. They explain what I don’t understand. I get one-on-one help with the teachers. [...] [in elementary school and my earlier experiences in high school] I just wanted to give up on school because I felt nobody cared about how i felt and I really couldn’t relate with anyone. That’s another reason why I love Campos High School– because they not only help you with work, but they care about you and I can not say that no teacher tryed to ask me and help me with my problems. I then felt that someone cared about my problems, so I loved school. There was not a day that I was down and I was ignored at school. I want to graduate not only for me, but for my baby. PACHS has really shaped me and sent me on the right path to gradate. I look at life [with a more positive attitude] and I am thankful to everyone that didn’t give up on me.
