I.C.E. Rally

Students and staff of Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos HS, took the time to participate in the ICE rally on January 21st.

The march for Family Unity, Wednesday, January 21 12pm(noon) I.C.E. Building, 101 W. Congress Pkwy March BEGAN in front of I.C.E and ENDED at the Methodist temple 773-782-8379

The “Ya Basta” Coalition of Latino Leaders, representing over 60 organizations, churches, agencies, and Latino Elected Officials, joined the national call for demonstrations. They called on President Barack Obama to declare a moratorium. This would put an immediate stop to the raids, deportations and separation of families until a just comprehensive immigration reform is implemented as promised in the first 90 days of Obama’s new administration.
