Student Application for ’12-’13 Online !

Our school has a four step process for students to apply:

1) Fill out a paper or online application.

2) The information is taken by a school official and entered into a Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) database and a lottery is drawn.

3) Student names that are selected in the lottery are called for an interview.

4) Final acceptance decision is made based on a student’s paperwork and their interview with the school.

Week of 5/20

THIS IS THE SEVENTH WEEK in the FOURTH QUARTER! Students are welcome to stay after school to ensure that they are all caught up on their work. Wednesday this week, we will be taking a group of select students to take the City Colleges of Chicago Compass test to determine access to Dual Enrollment college level courses for this summer. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL STUDENTS!! Please note the following dates: Monday 5/27 is a day of non-attendance for students; Saturday 6/1 is Prom; Friday 6/7 is the final day for seniors to have their work complete; Friday 6/13 is the final day for all other students to have their work complete; 6/18 is the last day of classes.
