September Field Trips

I went to the Washington Park trip. The purpose of this trip was to build the peer relationship of the student body. Going to the trip one of the concerns that I had was getting the students to participate in the activities and learn something about each other. Quickly when arriving and after meeting the team that would be working with the students that concern disappeared. The team builders who worked with the students did exceptionally well with the students. I observed as a large group of students that at times conflict in the regular school setting instantly began working together. The students all participated and even a couple of the students that began with some reservation where quickly participating with the coaxing of their peers. By the end of the day even though tired they all had an overall great experience.
